Fabulous Art by Joni Stinson

The art in JStinson's Etsy shop is magnificent. You will love seeing the creations that reflect her Creek and Cherokee heritage. Colorful, intricate, and inexplicably beautiful are only a few words I would use to describe her work.. You will enjoy viewing Joni's talents at: http://www.jstinson.etsy.com/

I Am So Excited!

I am so excited! My shop (http://www.bagsandmorebypam.etsy.com/) is being featured as the Etsyhooker of the Week by Laura's Left Hook.
Laura has written a wonderful feature about me and my creations and I know you will really enjoy seeing Laura's work (coasters, can cozies, face scrubbies, and one of my favorites is her new collection of letter pillows, such as the one at the left, which you can custom order for any letter and in any color!) Laura also has some special interests outside of crocheting
such as ASL and children's books that you will enjoy learning about.
Enjoy your visit to Laura's blog, and feel free to stop by her shop and mine!

It's a Small World After All!

Take a look at this cute baby toy from Tag You Are It! What a clever idea for a safe toy for your little one! You can see Erin's other cute creations at http://www.tagyourareit.etsy.com/. The story about how I discovered Tag You Are It is really neat! I got an order from my Etsy store for a bath/shower scrubbie and washcloth. In communicating with the buyer, we discovered that we have a mutal friend, Andrea, who had placed a link on her blog to my website, http://www.bagsandmorebypam.com/ Erin, the buyer, had been to my website a few times and one Saturday night, ended up at my Etsy store, http://www.bagsandmorebypam.etsy.com/

All three of us were excited at the connection we discovered. (And I was super excited not only for the sale but to find a new friend in Etsy Space!) Erin was even kind enough to write about her scrubbie purchase on her blog: http://www.lifeinthebarnesnuthouse.blogspot.com/ ! And, now we are both watching for Andrea's store to open on Etsy! You will enjoy your visit to Erin's store to see her really creative baby toys!

Time to Plant and Other Stuff!

It has been really cool and rainy here in Indiana. Have at least ten flower areas to weed, divide perennials, plant annuals for color, and mulch. Then there is the small vegetable garden which will include about 36 tomato plants (I can never have enough tomatoes!), some green and red pepper plants, and perhaps a few cucumbers and zucchini plants. That is yet to be tilled, and it looks as if that won't be done until next week sometime. Between working for my Mom in Indianapolis two days a week, crocheting, and doing other ordinary tasks, time always seems to get away. We did manage to squeeze in redoing the seats and top of our picnic table just the other day. It makes us want to cook out just to use it!
