Time to Plant and Other Stuff!

It has been really cool and rainy here in Indiana. Have at least ten flower areas to weed, divide perennials, plant annuals for color, and mulch. Then there is the small vegetable garden which will include about 36 tomato plants (I can never have enough tomatoes!), some green and red pepper plants, and perhaps a few cucumbers and zucchini plants. That is yet to be tilled, and it looks as if that won't be done until next week sometime. Between working for my Mom in Indianapolis two days a week, crocheting, and doing other ordinary tasks, time always seems to get away. We did manage to squeeze in redoing the seats and top of our picnic table just the other day. It makes us want to cook out just to use it!

Oh, that is just part of the front yard! Think I will post some photos of the different areas later this week. Some are weeded. Others are not. Some perennials are blooming....absolutely gorgeous purple irises, some peach, some purple black ones, some yellow ones. But, in the background of this photo, down by the run off creek, is one area to be tended.
Glad you stopped by!
